Lead Production - 2nd ShiftLocation: Eden Prairie, MN, USStratasys is a world leader in 3D printing! The Lead Production is responsible for assisting the production leadership in the daily coordination of work activities and the development of production employees. Will ensure that safety, quality, policies, and procedures are followed; production schedules are achieved; and be the lead on the assigned product work cell. This is a second shift position; Monday - Friday 1:45pm - 10:15pm Shift differential pay: $1.50 per hourWhat You Will Be Doing:Ensure production team conformance to safety procedures through daily monitoring, documenting of issues and preventative actionEnsure product quality requirements are met and that the production team follows all production processesLead the production team to ensure daily and weekly production schedules are metEscalate production issues cross-functionally per established processesEnsure transactions are completed accurately and troubleshoot issues as necessaryEnsure that all tools and equipment are maintained in proper working orderCoordinate training and certification of production team and maintain required documentationWork with the production team and cross-functional team members to resolve complex problems and issuesLearn and participate in Lean Manufacturing activities including Improve-It Idea leadershipLead the onboarding of new employees in the production teamExecute production processes as needed to provide backup or to meet the production scheduleResolve teamwork issues on the team; work with supervisor to address performance issuesLead and engage the production team in daily Tier 1 meetings and communicate issues to Tier 2 meetingsProvide feedback and documentation on production employee performance and compliance to company policiesCreate proposed disciplinary action write-ups and performance appraisals for the supervisorMaintain a safe, clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety policies and proceduresAttend all required company trainingDemonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values.Other responsibilities as assigned by the department or managerMust Have For This Role:High School Diploma or equivalent6+ years related experience in a manufacturing environmentERP system knowledgeKnowledge of computer skills required to send and receive emails, use ADP/HRMS, use test operating systems, and other systems to communicate with supervisors or any others within StratasysAbility to read and understand work instructionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well with othersNice To Have:Experience in Project managementExperience with LEAN ManufacturingNearest Major Market: Minneapolis
