Manufacturing Engineer

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Palmdale, CA  surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $100.00 Hourly

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for assemblies and equipment installation. 
• Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction andquality improvement. 
• Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
• Leverages understandingof materials and automaticprocesses to define operation procedures and build sequences todrive operational excellence. 
• Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. 
• Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. 
• Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross-functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production planning.
• Experience with somecombination of the following: experience withmanufacturing processes and procedures including fabrication, assembly, and machining in severaldisciplines includingcomposites, metallics, machining,bonded assemblies &/or installations.
• Previous experience developing visual work instructions for use in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Teamcenter and CATIA.
• Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
• CatiaV5 Structural Assembly Aviation Experience. Previous Manufacturing Engineer Experience(minimum of 4yrs experience).
• 3 years of recent Teamcenter experience.
