Optometric Assistant/Optician

Job Description

We are seeking an Optometric Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Perform routine optometric/clinical tasks to support medical staff
Communicate with patients for suggesting and advising on required medical procedures, fitting and ordering eyewear
Escort patients to exam rooms, and perform pretesting and other related procedures

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare and or retail desired but not essential.
Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
