Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical ICU setting serving an adult to geriatric population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2–3
• Manage complex diagnoses including but not limited to Sepsis/Septic Shock, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, GI Bleed/Hemorrhagic Shock, DKA, Acute Kidney Disease, Pulmonary Edema, Pulmonary Embolus, Cardiac Arrhythmias, and Hypertensive Emergencies
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including CRRT, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), Chest Tubes, Bronchoscopies, Lumbar Punctures, Central Line insertion and maintenance, Arterial Line maintenance, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation
• Administer and monitor continuous IV infusions including pressors, paralytics, sedatives, and cardiac medications
• Utilize Epic (required) , Pyxis, and SBAR communication systems
• Float within the facility within scope of practice as needed; work every other weekend and adhere to holiday coverage expectations per assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience; first-time travelers are welcome
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic is required
• All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or onsite
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CRRT and Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and management of vasoactive drips
• Experience assisting with procedures such as Bronchoscopies, Lumbar Punctures, and Central Line insertions
