- Follow all safety procedures, including the wearing of all required personal protective equipment.
- Follow all Process Control requirements and utilized Process Stop when operation is out of standard.
- Read and follow work instructions, including Standardized Work instructions, and procedures for the job they are running.
- Verify proper components are at the work area before beginning using Router.
- Operate a molding press, drill press, Hands Free grinding, assembly machine, or any other piece of equipment for which they are trained.
- Inspect all parts produced for quality using Quality Book.
- Package and Hot labeling parts correctly.
- Fill out completely all required paperwork for production and quality.
- Propose improvements and participate in problem solving using the Safety Corner Board, Continuous Improvement Suggestions, and participating in monthly Communication and Awareness initiatives.
- Keep area clean and orderly, per 5S requirements, this includes aisle ways and areas around the equipment being used.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by Supervisor
- Perform job according to efficiency requirements and production schedule.
- Follow procedures for Scrap escalation and accurately complete Rate Cards.
