As a Concrete Carpenter you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position. - Previous construction experience, preferably involving concrete work
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Strong knowledge of construction-site safety procedures
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work outdoors
- Blueprint-reading skills required for Carpenters and Rodbusters
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational training or apprenticeship experience is a plus
- Carpentry, welding, or related certifications preferred
- Build, position, and dismantle concrete forms
- Mix, pour, spread, and finish concrete
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Operate mixers, saws, drills, and jackhammers
- Dig trenches and shovel gravel
- Prepare and clean construction sites
- Report safety concerns and maintain an organized work area
