LeachGarner is hiring a Machine Operator to work as a power brush operator on 1st shift.

4-day Workweek!

Hours are Monday - Thursday 5:30 am – 3:00 pm

Responsibilities include:

• Perform various stock-handling functions, primarily responsible for scrubbing sheets of precious metal
• Run sheets of precious metal through scrubbing machine
• Accurately record weight and specs
• Properly route product to next step in process
• Visually inspect material for spots, scratches or other defects
• Work from production orders, instruction sheets, charts, tables, and verbal and written instructions from supervisor
• Maintain work area in clean, safe and orderly condition
• Follow established safety and production policies
• Follow all safety and PPE protocols
• Perform other tasks as needed to further our company's goals and uphold our commitments

Requirements:

• Experience working as a machine operator in a production environment preferred
• An understanding of production procedures
• Able to speak and understand English
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Good math skills
• Able to lift 20 pounds of material repeatedly throughout the shift
• High school diploma or GED

This role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The position involves walking, standing, pushing/pulling, and lifting of materials throughout the shift.
