Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Serve as a liaison between families and outpatient providers, ensuring seamless communication and support. \n
- Engage in discussions with insurance companies to navigate pre-certification and utilization management, advocating for the needs of clients. \n
- Participate in comprehensive discharge and aftercare planning, helping clients transition smoothly from therapy sessions. \n
- Provide therapeutic meal support, guiding clients towards a healthy relationship with food while emphasizing self-acceptance and body positivity. \n
- Deliver empathetic and affirming care that recognizes each client's multifaceted identity, addressing their unique circumstances and challenges. \n
The LCSW will primarily work with students in a school-based setting, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. This role includes working with diverse populations and understanding the intersecting identities of each client, which is essential for providing tailored therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid LCSW license issued by the state of Texas is mandatory. \n
- Experience working with older adults and understanding their specific mental health needs is required. \n
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills to assess and address a variety of mental health conditions. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families. \n
