Full Time Registered Nurse - RN - $1,500 Sign on Bonus

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) works under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator in Healogics’ outpatient wound care centers. The RN provides patient care, handles patient intake and discharge processes, and may serve as a case manager for assigned patients. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Provide nursing care to Wound Care Center patients and manage patient intake and discharge activities according to hospital and nursing standards. Assist in the vein clinic after completion of Healogics Vein Clinic training. Serve as case manager for a group of patients, performing initial nursing assessment, communicating findings with the assigned physician, documenting care plans, evaluating patient status, and identifying situations that require intervention. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide patient or caregiver education, and advocate for patients. Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) duties after completion of Healogics hyperbaric training; may serve as hyperbaric safety director after completing the required training. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Center providers, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs. Function as a documentation assistant (scribe) per Healogics policy. Perform other duties as required. Required Education, Experience and Credentials Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Current RN license in the state of practice with ongoing license maintenance. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Medical Surgical, Home Health, or Wound Care Certification preferred. Wound care experience preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS). Strong organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills. Basic knowledge of regulatory and accrediting requirements in healthcare. Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, including presentation and the ability to translate technical terms into lay language. Customer service and follow‑up skills. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Teaching skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Teamwork and collaboration abilities. Calmness in all situations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Proficiency with computerized nursing systems. Physical Demands Stationary position for extended periods (≥4 hours). Repetitive motions, moving, pushing/pulling, reading, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping, writing, detecting sounds, and visual tasks. Ability to lift/move items up to 20lb; lift/move up to 75lb with equipment assistance. Keying on a computer for 4+ hours. Work Environment Normal office environment. Patient care environment.
