Role Overview Brandermill Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team. We are searching for a candidate with strong client education and patient care skills who thrives in a fast‑paced team environment. The primary responsibility of an LVT is to advocate for our patients and work together with clients to help them take excellent care of their pets. The ideal candidate is skilled in relationship building and demonstrates empathy when communicating in person and over the phone. As a representative of our hospital, an LVT must prioritize courtesy, compassion, and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, patients, and coworkers. Key Responsibilities Client education regarding pet care, health and prevention. Animal handling, patient treatments, and medical record management. Lab sampling and processing. Prescription filling and invoicing. Assisting with surgeries and anesthesia monitoring. Managing multiple priorities with high attention to detail. Providing mentorship and support to aspiring veterinary assistants in completing educational tasks for veterinary technician degree programs.
