What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care within the ICU, adapting behavior to meet patient needs.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Observe and document patient conditions accurately using EPIC.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, delegating tasks as appropriate.
• Manage resources efficiently to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain safety standards and infection control protocols, including exposure to potentially communicable diseases.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the ICU team.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active RN license in Mississippi
  • BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification (must have 12-month blue card from CPI)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including ICU background and EPIC documentation skills
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher
  • Certification in clinical specialty areas
  • Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills
