Respiratory Therapist Sign on bonus up to $10,000 Eastern North Carolina Shift: Full-time Nights 7P-7A Our client is a 700+ bed healthcare facility. The hospital is known for being the region's only Level II trauma center, as well as being home to the only children's hospital in the western portion of the state. Our client offers a variety of services, including women's services, sports medicine, and neurological care. The hospital's cardiovascular services include the only open heart and interventional cardiology in the region. The quality of the facility's services has earned much recognition, such as being named among the nation's best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics, and Healthgrades. Our client is a Level 2 Trauma Center and the only trauma center for 19 counties in Western North Carolina. Position summary Supports department by providing care to patients requiring all types of respiratory support including critical, emergency, general therapy, and infant transport. Supports organizational improvement by teaching and participating in the management of resources for patient care. Requirements / Qualifications / License / Experience Associates Degree in Respiratory Care OR Completion of Respiratory Program Accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) Associates Degree in Respiratory Care OR Completion of Respiratory Care Program Accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) and 20 years of experience Required License: Registered by NBRC; a current North Carolina License issued by North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) and a current BCLS.
