Electrical Service Technician

Job Responsibilities Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses. Install and/or upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc. Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established. Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and regulations, including the use of proper PPE at all times. Keep truck clean, stocked, and accurately inventoried. Willing to work hours outside of the normal work schedule and on an on-call schedule. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum of 2 years of service or construction experience preferred in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse electrical service issues. Highly detail-oriented to ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property. Team-oriented. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Education / Certification Requirements TN State/LLE Electrical License preferred. High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Valid driver's license.
