What You'll Do:

• Provide expert nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with state and national standards.
• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for patients and their families.
• Delegate and direct nursing team members, acting as a leader within the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data and clinical information to evaluate patient outcomes and drive improvements.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
• Embrace diversity, cultural competence, and patient-centered care in all interactions.
• Perform other related duties as required, supporting the hospital's quality and safety standards.

What You Need:

• Required:
  • Current Louisiana RN license
  • BLS, ACLS from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Preferred:
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Proficiency with healthcare software and documentation
