Job Description

Currently seeking Florida Licensed Funeral Director for our Funeral Homes that will assist with/but not limited to the following:

• Meeting with Families and guiding families through the arrangement process as well as directing funerals
• Answering telephones, gathering information and giving information over phone or e-mail
• Personalizing Funerals, helping families create a unique Celebration of Life for their loved ones. Providing information on available services, merchandise, and costs.
• Completing and Filing Legal Paperwork
• Plan and organize funeral ceremonies, memorial services, and viewings.
• Coordinate logistics such as transportation, floral arrangements, and audiovisual equipment.
• Customer Service, Must maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion in all interactions with clients.
• Input Information and Financials in Database

Job Requirements

• Associates in Mortuary Sciences and Appropriate State License
• Must have a current Florida Funeral Director's License
• Proven experience as a Funeral Director or appropriate course study.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a MUST
• Available to work weekends & Evenings
• Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to deliver them under all circumstances with a compassionate and empathetic approach in dealing with grieving families.
• Ability to maintain a High Level of Customer/Family Satisfaction under all circumstances
• Ability to Communicate Professionally, Clearly and Compassionately
• Proficient in use of Office Equipment, Computers and latest versions of Microsoft Office is a must
• Ability to Multi-task, Detail Oriented, Self-Starter, Self-Motivated and work well with others
• Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds on flat and inclined flooring or ramps
• Hours: Flexibility & availability may be necessary as services may occur outside of normal business hours and working nights and weekends is frequently necessary
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required to operate company owned vehicles
