Retail Manager

Monte’s Fine Foods is seeking an experienced retail/restaurant manager to join our team! This is a full-time, year-round position, 40-45 hours per week. Duties include: Lead and motivate the retail sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Manage our wine program to optimize product presentation and availability. Supervise daily store operations including cash handling, POS system management, and ordering. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations to build a skilled team. Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards specific to specialty food retailing. Requirements: Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of organization, punctuality, and attention to detail. Integrity, professionalism, and reliability. A positive, joyful, and energetic attitude. Availability evenings and weekends. Experience with retail POS systems and MS Office. Previous restaurant or retail management experience.
