Part-Time Food Runner / Server Assistant

Location: The Barrn at Meadowlake Club – Canton
Schedule: Part-Time | Evenings & Weekends

We’re looking for a reliable, upbeat Food Runner / Server Assistant to support our front‐of‐house team and help deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Position Overview

The Food Runner / Server Assistant ensures dishes are delivered quickly, accurately, and with a smile. This role keeps service flowing smoothly, supporting servers, communicating with the kitchen, and maintaining a clean, organized dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
Assist servers with clearing tables, resetting, and maintaining a clean dining room
Ensure food presentation standards are met before leaving the kitchen
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front‐of‐house staff
Refill water, assist with drink service, and anticipate guest needs
Maintain cleanliness of service stations and work areas
Support overall team operations during busy service periods
Provide friendly, attentive service that reflects Meadowlake’s community-focused atmosphere

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
Weekend and evening availability
