Edenbrook North is looking for an Activity Aide to enrich the lives of our residents.

Position: Full Time Activity Aide

We are seeking individuals who are devoted to fostering meaningful and purposeful lives for our residents. The Activity Aide organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small group facilitation, and large group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and value of approaches in the medical record.

Job functions will include:

• Assist with planning, coordinating and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and emotional needs of our residents
• Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
• Help design programs to encourage socialization
• Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
• Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
• Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
• Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation

• musical/ arts & crafts experience preferred
