Onsite, Full-Time Electrical Engineer (Construction Management – CM-EE)Davenergy Solutions is currently seeking an onsite, full-time Electrical Engineer (Construction Management – CM-EE) to support the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program at the Hershel "Woody" Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, WV.This position will provide professional electrical engineering and construction management support to the VA during all phases of design and construction for EHRM infrastructure upgrades.RequirementsOnsite electrical engineering support for federal healthcare construction projectsConstruction Management (CM) support for EHRM-related electrical infrastructureReview of electrical designs, submittals, RFIs, and change ordersMonitoring contractor compliance with electrical codes, VA standards, and project specificationsExperience with medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systemsFamiliarity with critical power systems, emergency power, and infrastructure upgradesParticipation in constructability reviews, value engineering, and commissioning activitiesConstruction phase inspections, daily logs, and deficiency trackingSchedule monitoring and coordination with contractors and VA staffCost control support including review of contractor pay applicationsFamiliarity with NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and VA electrical standardsWorking knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, IT/Communications, etc.)Site surveys, field assessments, and technical reportingStrong written reporting, documentation, and computer skillsExcellent communication, coordination, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support a fast-paced project environmentAbility to work independently in an onsite federal facilityCommunication, Language, and Software Skills:Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacyAbility to prepare clear technical reports and written recommendationsAbility to exercise good interpersonal and professional communication skills with VA staff, contractors, and project stakeholdersEducational Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institutionEducational requirements may be substituted with significant directly related experience, where applicableRegistration Requirements:Professional Engineer (PE) license requiredCommissioning experience or certification is a plusAbility to obtain and maintain a VA PIV card / NACI background clearanceOSHA 30-Hour certification (required within 60 days of notice to proceed)Benefits:401(k)Bi-Weekly 401(k) Company Contribution (3% of Salary)Annual Profit-Sharing Contribution to 401(k)10 Paid Federal HolidaysHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffOptional Benefits:Accident CoverageShort Term DisabilityTerm Life InsuranceMedical BridgeCritical Illness
