Express Employment Professionals is now seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer in the Ridgeway, SC area. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional with a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and manufacturing.

Senior Buyer

Pay Rate: 80,000K - 120,000K Annually

Location:

Ridgeway, SC 29130

Job Overview:

The Senior Strategic Buyer is responsible for leading sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings while supporting manufacturing operations and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations

-Develop and manage supplier relationships

-Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities

-Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams

-Manage supplier performance and purchasing activities in SAP

-Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field

-5+ years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience in manufacturing

-Strong SAP, Microsoft Office, and procurement system experience

-Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

-Experience with supplier management and contract negotiations
