Trademark Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Trademark Associate in Austin, TX, with options for remote work. This role involves managing trademark-related matters, including clearance, prosecution, and enforcement, for a diverse client base across various industries. Duties Conduct U.S. and international trademark clearance searches and provide strategic opinions. Handle trademark prosecution, including filing applications and responding to office actions. Assist with brand protection, monitoring, and enforcement activities. Advise clients on domain name issues, social media branding, and trademark licensing. Engage directly with clients on brand management and anti-counterfeiting efforts. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school with active Texas state bar license or eligibility to waive in. 2-7 years of experience in trademark law, including prosecution and portfolio management. Experience in TTAB or IP litigation is a plus. Strong skills in writing, research, and project management. Ability to manage multiple priorities and client matters efficiently. Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.)
