The driver will be responsible for safely operating a school bus along designated routes, ensuring students arrive at their destinations safely and on time. This is a part-time position ideal for individuals looking for afternoon hours.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a school bus to transport students for the after-school program.Follow designated routes and schedules.Ensure the safety of all passengers during loading, transport, and unloading.Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.Follow all traffic laws, school transportation policies, and safety procedures.Communicate any concerns, incidents, or delays to the appropriate staff.Qualifications:Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.School Bus Endorsement required.Passenger Endorsement required.Must pass a background screening.Ability to safely manage and supervise student passengers.Reliable, punctual, and committed to student safety.Experience:No prior experience required; training may be provided.If you are interested in helping support students and providing safe transportation for an after-school program, we encourage you to apply.
