Assistant Property Manager

We’re Hiring: Assistant Property Manager Kansas City, KS Full-Time · On-Site KDR Management is growing, and we’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to help lead one of our residential multifamily communities. What You’ll Do As the right hand to our Property Manager, you’ll help keep the community running smoothly and residents happy. Day to day, you’ll: Support daily operations of the apartment community Guide the leasing process — tours, applications, screening, and lease signings — to keep occupancy strong Build genuine relationships with residents and resolve concerns quickly and professionally Manage, delinquencies, and post notices in line with company policy Coordinate with maintenance to ensure work orders and turns are completed on time Get unit ready for showing Coordinate align and plan for projects with vendors Help plan resident events and support renewal and retention efforts What You Bring 1–2+ years in residential property management or leasing (multifamily preferred) A people-first attitude with strong communication and problem‑solving skills Comfort with property management software (AppFolio, or similar) Solid organizational skills and attention to detail A team mindset and the drive to grow into a Property Manager role Why KDR Management Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Housing/rent discount at our communities Real growth opportunities — we promote from within A supportive team that has your back KDR Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
