Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents and patients, including special dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and menu planning
• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and excellent customer satisfaction
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive resident information
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Executive Chef

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a food service or dietary setting, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
