Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our adept team of imaging professionals. In this role, you will leverage advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures that are crucial for patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, ranging from abdominal and obstetric to gynecological and vascular imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly communicating each step with empathy and professionalism
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure top-notch diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging machinery, promptly reporting any operational issues
• Meticulously document procedures, maintaining comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
