Services include biomimetic restorations, root canal alternatives, mercury-safe amalgam removal, and biological extractions with PRF to support natural healing. Patients receive unhurried, one-hour consultations where treatment options and costs are clearly explained before care begins. Essential Dental operates as a fee-for-service practice and submits insurance claims as a courtesy to patients. Role Description The Hygienist role at Essential Dental is a part-time, on-site position located in Las Vegas, NV. The hygienist will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including thorough cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and patient education aligned with biological and biomimetic principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, performing infection control and sterilization procedures, supporting mercury-safe and biological treatment protocols, and documenting care in patient records. The hygienist will collaborate closely with the dentist and dental team to deliver conservative, patient-centered care and ensure a calm, respectful experience for every patient. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in dental Hygiene and Dental Care, including preventive and periodontal services. Foundational knowledge of Dentistry, with the ability to support biomimetic and biological treatment approaches. Strong Infection Control skills, including sterilization, operatory preparation, and adherence to safety protocols. Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Nevada. Commitment to patient education, clear communication, and trauma-informed, respectful chairside manner.
