Medix is hiring a Patient Financial Counselor in Chicago, IL to assist uninsured and underinsured patients with Medicaid eligibility, hospital financial counseling, and charity care programs. You will meet patients across inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Department settings to assess financial needs, explain options, complete Illinois Medicaid applications via the ABE portal, and monitor determinations.
