No CDL Operations Assistant Job
Responsible for compiling, sorting, troubleshooting and accurately entering data in to the TMW system. Input will come from interaction on the phone with drivers and customers as well as paper form.
Essential Functions of an Operations Assistant
· Develop and maintain a professional but paternal relationship with each driver and co-worker in order to ensure his/her needs are being met by the company.
· Advocate and maintain a strong commitment to safety in the operating process.
· Communicate timely and effectively with dispatchers and Terminal Manager to ensure a high level of service.
· Maximize your efficiency to fully utilize opportunities to provide maximum revenue and profitability input.
· Responsible for timely and efficient movement of all company and driver paperwork.
· Schedule load numbers and paperwork are entered efficiently.
· Enter load information into TMW system and prepare Delivery Memos for each load.
· Review documentation to ensure that proper loading numbers, billing instructions, etc. are correct.
· Review dispatch sheet and driver assignments to ensure all load paperwork is received.
· Monitor and update driver’s progress throughout the shift and update the TMW by actualizing the events.
Bilingual would be very helpful
