Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Pull and prepare orders in an accurate and timely manner.
• Safe loading and unloading of containers, company trucks and customer vehicles.
• Correctly receiving and storing inventory.
• Return merchandise to correct department daily.
• Restock merchandise as needed.
• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Operate all equipment including stand-up forklift, sit down forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, electric pallet jack, wave machine and turret truck if applicable.
• Conduct daily equipment checklist prior to operating machinery. Notify the manager if repairs are needed.
• Operate warehousing equipment in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
• Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.
• Comply with all company and department policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• 1+ year of experience using stand up forklift, sit down forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Basic math skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Forklift Certified.

Skills:

• Requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands:

• Required to stand long periods of time.
• Required to walk frequently.
• Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Required to reach with hands and arms.
• Required to talk or hear.
• Required to bend, lift or climb.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Finger dexterity required.
• Hand coordination required.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to warehouse temperature environment.
• Protective clothing or equipment is required including protective helmets company issued uniforms.
• The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate.
