Registered Nurse - ICU

ICU Critical Care NurseProvide specialized critical care nursing services to ICU patients, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive nursing interventions and monitor patient progress.Responsibilities:Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.Monitor vital signs, implement emergency procedures as needed, and utilize advanced equipment such as Phillips monitors and GE EKG machines.Document patient information accurately in the EMR system and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including Codes and intubations, demonstrating critical thinking and decision-making skills.Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.Qualifications:Valid RN license with a minimum of 3 years recent ICU experience.Proven ability to perform complex procedures including STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, and Conscious Sedation.Prior experience as a charge nurse or in multi-tasking roles is preferred.Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.Hold current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend, with a sense of urgency when necessary.Benefits & Growth:Access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Work in a supportive environment that values teamwork, honesty, and compassion.Enhance critical care skills in a fast-paced, dynamic ICU setting.Benefits:Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral ProgramWhy TactStaff?Choosing TactStaff means partnering with a team that understands the unique demands and rewards of ICU.
