Sr Project Manager

Job Summary This position is responsible for leading large complex projects or a program with a number of sub‑projects. You will be accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of a project or program, including managing the cost/budget, schedule, and dependencies, while ensuring the project scope aligns with the stated business objectives. The role requires a blend of technical and business acumen to drive the design, development, and implementation of strategic IT projects, building sufficient knowledge of IT products and lOB to probe delivery feasibility and identify conflicts with other projects. You will set and manage customer expectations, handle and escalating issues and changes, develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, and drive deliverables and activities with product managers and program managers by removing barriers and escalating risks or issues within a matrix environment. A thorough understanding of the systems development life cycle and enterprise processes is essential. Required Job Qualifications Bachelor Degree with 5 years project management experience or 7 years project management experience. Familiarity and experience with Project Management Methodologies (e.g., Project Management Institute – PMBOK) and experience in delivering and managing large and/or complex projects. Understanding of project financial tracking, including monitoring and reporting on budget expenditures. Experience in negotiations, managing conflict, and organizational / political savvy. Verbal and written communication skills, as well as meeting facilitation skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills; agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities. Ability to create integrated, milestone‑driven critical path project plans. Ability to multi‑task and balance multiple competing priorities while meeting deadlines. Ability to influence direct / indirect reports, project stakeholders, and leaders, and manage within a matrix organization. Structured, organized, and methodical in execution, takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, drives results and delivers certainty in delivery, and manages multiple parallel efforts on schedule. Develops trusted relationships and demonstrates deep interpersonal skills. Experience with the entire software development lifecycle from inception to development to testing to production deployment and maintenance; deep understanding of HCSC delivery models – OWF, Scrum, XP. Preferred Job Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification. Health care acumen and HCSC experience. Comfort/poise with senior management. Leadership skills. Knowledge of the Clarity PPM system. Expertise in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan. Base Pay Range: $92,700.00 – $167,500.00. This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
