Senior .NET Developer

Salary: $64,000 - 104,000 per year Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building enterprise-grade applications using the .NET framework, with .NET Core preferred, and strong proficiency in C#.
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices, including SDLC, UML modeling, version control systems such as Git or SVN, and Agile methodologies.
- Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and improve enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core, and Blazor.
- Develop and support web applications, APIs, background services, integrations, and related application components.
- Modernize legacy applications by upgrading to supported .NET versions, removing outdated technologies and dependencies, and strengthening application architecture and maintainability.
- Create and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, databases, Microsoft 365 services, and other internal or external systems.
- Design database components, queries, stored procedures, and data access layers to support application functionality.
- Investigate and resolve defects, performance problems, integration issues, and production incidents.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, solution design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Analyze business and technical needs and convert them into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Implement application security controls and address identified vulnerabilities.
- Produce and maintain application, system, deployment, configuration, and support documentation.
- Support releases and deployments across development, test, and production environments.
- Provide production support, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for supported applications.
- Follow the Agencys SDLC, database standards, change management practices, and secure development procedures.
- Store and manage source code in the agencys GitHub Enterprise repository and document code changes thoroughly.
- Share technical knowledge, mentor staff, deliver demonstrations, and provide training to Government personnel as requested.
- Prototype, assess, and showcase development concepts, methods, and tools that improve software delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
