CT/XR Technologist

Assignment Duration

Nights: 7 PM - 7 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Job Description

The CT/XR Technologist will provide imaging services in a 10-bed facility, working primarily in the emergency department and supporting inpatient rehabilitation and other units as needed. The role involves working independently from 11 PM to 7 AM with access to protocol books for all scans and updated protocols in the scanner.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure operational readiness
• Collaborate effectively with the Emergency Department and other staff

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification
• BLS certification required
• 1-2 years of experience in CT and XR imaging
• Experience with GE CT Scanner, Philips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, and MedRad contrast injector preferred
• Knowledge of Cerner EMR is preferred
