What you’ll be doing The Technology Product Development Network AI team is a center of excellence dedicated to building AI‑powered networks. In this high‑impact role, you will lead the Network Planning & Forecasting functions and oversee a senior engineering team that drives network coverage prediction, compliance reporting, capacity forecasting, and AI‑driven anomaly detection. Lead and mentor a highly specialized team of software engineers, developers, and testers. Provide architectural oversight and technical direction for predictive, AI‑driven capacity/coverage modeling and proactive anomaly detection. Manage end‑to‑end product delivery for Network Planning & Forecasting platforms, owning the backlog, feature prioritization, release planning, and ensuring on‑time delivery within budget. Translate business strategy into technical direction, proactively aligning technology initiatives to overarching business goals. Cultivate a culture of speed, agility, and customer focus within the team, breaking down silos. Leverage deep experience in data analytics, forecasting, product development, systems engineering, and IT management to guide development and deployment. Communicate effectively to drive technical discussions with teams and present executive‑level updates on project status and strategy. You are data‑driven, a domain specialist in telecom data, and can synthesize complex AI/ML concepts into actionable insights for business leaders. You are an inspiring leader who fosters autonomy and brings out the best in senior engineering talent. Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Knowledge in AI/ML development, data management, and policy & compliance. Experience with Python, Google BigQuery, forecasting & prediction models. Extensive experience in telecommunications, network systems engineering, capacity forecasting, or AI/Data product management. Proven experience leading and managing senior technical staff (e.g., Principal or Distinguished Engineers) and highly autonomous teams. Deep understanding of geospatial data modeling, forecasting & prediction processes. Strong executive presentation skills with a track record of aligning technology initiatives to overarching business strategies. Knowledge in workflow automation and task management. Experience managing an onshore‑offshore delivery model. Experience with enterprise application development, large databases, reporting systems, data analytics, AI/ML solutions, time‑series data forecasting. Experience managing data & AI/ML solutions on cloud. Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Experience developing and supporting high‑availability systems and disaster recovery. Knowledge of self‑serve analytic tools for business users. Where you’ll be working This is a hybrid role with a defined work location. You will work from home and spend a minimum of three days per week in the office, as determined by your manager. Employees must comply with the hybrid work policies.
