Job Description
Exciting Opportunity: Cath Lab Recovery RN

Join our dynamic team as a Cath Lab Recovery RN and make a meaningful impact in patient care!

• Shift: 06:00-18:30
• Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
• Unit: Cath Lab Recovery
• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 3:1
• Unit Staffing: Support from CNAs, unit secretaries, and techs available
• Type of Equipment: IV Pumps, Specialty Beds, Bedside Monitors, Telemetry Boxes, Zoll
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week (2 shifts from 0600-1830 and 1 shift from 0800-2030)
• Floating Policy: Rarely float to IR Pre/Post; flexibility based on volume
• Patient Experience Requirements: Critical care and/or previous procedural experience (Cath/EP lab)
• Must Have: ICU/Cardiac Stepdown experience; previous Cath/EP lab experience preferred; moderate sedation experience
• Advanced Skills Needed: ACLS
• Procedures Performed: Sheath pulls, groin management, cardioversions, radial access site management, GA recovery
• Certifications Required: ACLS
• Dress Code: Green hospital-issued scrubs
• No Weekly Call: Enjoy your personal time!
• Position Availability: 1/1, vacant position
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Contract Length: 91 weeks
