Our core business includes civil engineering, surveying, construction observation, and municipal services. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Transportation Engineer. Qualifications and Experience:4 or more years of experience.4 or more years of experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.BS in Civil Engineering.PE Registration and participation in a professional organization, preferred.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Essential Responsibilities: Candidates would be required to perform the following tasks:Complete various civil engineering and/or surveying tasks assigned by a Project Manager, and work under their direct supervision.Work independently with minimal oversight.Assist with training and oversight of staff.Use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D in the preparation of surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, construction layout and staking.Design site civil, municipal, and transportation projects with the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.Prepare reports and permits for site civil, transportation, and municipal projects.Perform construction observation or field services as requested.Communicate with project teams in all offices.Direct staff on project tasks.Provide support for proposal requests, contract preparation, and assistance in project management responsibilities.Responsible for assisting in tracking project budgets, but no billing obligations.Limited marketing responsibilities.Limited client management responsibilities.Regular communication with clients, peers, and agencies on projects.Have the ability to provide overtime to meet project deadlines.Maintain insurability under the Lynch & Associates Automotive policy to operate a company or personal vehicle to conduct business.Assist in any other assigned tasks in support of the Lynch & Associates team.Additional Information:Lynch & Associates offers a comprehensive benefit program including:Competitive salary based on experience, with bonus potential.Paid holidays and PTO.
