Job Requirements

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• DEA registration required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records and charting systems required, preferably Epic
• Local candidates only

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiology consults upon request and deliver E&M services only
• Read echocardiograms and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
• Support care for adult patients admitted under cardiology services
• Act as 2nd call during nights and weekends
• Maintain a manual log of all charges as required
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support efficient, high-quality patient care
