About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in guiding the financial strategy of the institution. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, working closely with the President to strengthen institutional planning, and support the company's growth and innovation. This includes overseeing all budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, and reporting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations, and developing and implementing financial policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for aligning financial planning with institutional priorities, program innovation, and long-term growth initiatives, as well as collaborating with advancement leadership on philanthropic efforts. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree and CPA certification preferred. A minimum of 5 years' professional experience in financial management within a higher education institution or a related field is required. The role demands a strategic and entrepreneurial financial leader with a strong operational capability, who can connect financial strategy with the institution's mission and student outcomes. The CFO will be expected to have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in automated accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and a proven track record of leadership and team collaboration are essential. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, collaborative partner, and share the company's commitment to practical, career-focused education.
