Globally headquartered in Harrison New Jersey since 1996 Derex delivers the highest quality technology professionals and an array of customized IT talent solutions designed to improve productivity and drive results to global clients throughout North America.With over two decades of unparalleled experience, Derex provides supports to its clientele, across such industries as Systems Integration, Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, Energy, Healthcare, Technology, Transportation, and local and federal Government agencies.Job DescriptionRole – QA Automation LeadLocation: Atlanta, GAPrimary Skills: Oneshield and Automation exp with P&C, better if candidate worked with Hiscox client in past.Lead the test plans, strategies, and methodologies for testing rate calculation functionalities within P&C insurance software applications - OneShield and EarnixDefine testing scope, objectives, and timelines in alignment with project requirements and business goals.Perform both manual and automated testing of rate calculation functionalities, including verifying rate tables, rating algorithms, and premium calculations.Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks to streamline testing efforts.Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and developers to analyze rate calculation requirements, rate manuals, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Identify test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage to validate rate calculation logic.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business analysts, product owners, developers, and project managers.Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the QA team, including mentoring on testing best practices, methodologies, and tools.Ability to lead the development of comprehensive test plans, strategies, and methodologies for testing rate calculation functionalities within P&C insurance software applications.Strong understanding of P&C insurance, including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.Solid knowledge of test management tools such as Jira and XrayExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.Mentor junior performance team members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.Basic understanding of Python scriptingExperience in AI assisted Quality AssuranceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.By clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy apply
