Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Perform scrub and/or circulating roles during cardiovascular operating room cases
• Monitor and document patient status throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Hands-on experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Ability to work 40 hours per week on a day shift schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in a CVOR environment
• Familiarity with open-heart, valve repair/replacement, and bypass procedures
• CNOR certification or equivalent specialty certification
