Job Description:


- Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced surgical environment?
- The CVOR service line is at the forefront of surgical interventions for both routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
- Experience a variety of cardiac procedures such as:
- Coronary artery bypass
- Valve repair/replacement
- Aortic dissection
- Heart transplantation
- Placement of ventricular assist devices
- Impella or intra-aortic balloon pump placement
- Adult ECMO and TAVR procedures.
- Get involved with thoracic cases, utilizing laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures.
- Participate in a range of vascular procedures from placement/revision of ESRD grafts/fistulas to endovascular in our advanced endovascular suite.
- Work in a state-of-the-art environment with 4-6 ORs available, depending on daily volume, ensuring an efficient and productive workflow.
- Join our dedicated team that operates four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass.

Who We're Looking For:
- Candidates with a minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR CST in a high-volume hospital setting.
- Proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures is a must.
- Provide verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed.
- Ability to function independently and excel in a dynamic surgical atmosphere.
- Flexibility to participate in call coverage after normal business hours and weekends.

Qualifications Required:
- License/Certificate Verification
- Ascension Specialty Exam (onboarding only)
- Ascension Core Competencies (onboarding only)
- Ascension Surgical Technologist Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (onboarding only)
- Updated health history including MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap vaccinations, and 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot).
- Government-issued Driver's License/State ID
- Criminal Background Check and EPLS verification (onboarding only)
- Ascension Profile, Skills Checklist, Education Verification (submission required), and Confirmation of Assignment.
