Financial Advisor
$150k - $195kFinancial Planner Recruiting, LLC
Job Description: Our client is a fee-only fiduciary RIA seeking a Financial Advisor to join their team • $1.05B AUM Target total compensation, year one: $150,000 • Ladder to $195,000+ • Phantom equity eligibility No prospecting. No cold calling. No quota. Qualified retirement-planning prospects with $1M-$10M in investable assets are booked directly onto your calendar by our marketing team. Your job is to meet them, understand what they're trying to accomplish, and decide together whether we're a fit. Our most recent advisor hire had a full calendar of qualified prospect meetings within 4 weeks of starting. We generate roughly 50-60 inbound strategy sessions per month from our own marketing.
If you're a strong planner who has spent years being measured on production instead of advice, this is the seat you've been looking for. Let's be straight about one thing You will start with no assigned clients. You are not inheriting a book, and you are not building one from cold outreach either. You are building it from our inbound flow, one qualified family at a time, with the firm covering marketing, planning support, trading, and operations. That means your first year is about onboarding the right families and learning our process. It also means your compensation climbs quickly as your book grows - and we'll show you exactly how below. What you'll do Serve as the primary advisor for client families navigating retirement - income planning, investment management, tax optimization, Roth conversion analysis, Social Security timing, and estate coordination. You'll work alongside an in-house tax team - a CPA and an Enrolled Agent - plus six other CFP® professionals, associate advisors, and a dedicated operations team. You will leverage our planning team, trading team, and operations team for paperwork, transfers, etc That in-house tax capability is unusual for a firm our size, and it changes the work. Roth conversion analysis, bracket management, and withdrawal sequencing get done with credentialed tax professionals down the hall - not outsourced to a client's outside accountant and hoped for. At full capacity - roughly 100-115 households - the large majority of your time is spent serving families you already know well, with a steady but smaller flow of new introductions. Compensation and career track We publish our compensation grid because we don't negotiate individually. Every advisor is on the same ladder, and advancement is earned on revenue you're responsible for - not tenure, politics, or how well you negotiated on your way in. Financial Advisor (Lead 1) -> Lead Advisor II -> Lead Advisor III -> Senior Advisor I -> Senior Advisor II -> Senior Advisor III Year-one guarantee. Because this seat starts without a book, we guarantee $150,000 in total cash compensation for your first twelve months regardless of how quickly your book builds. After that, you're on the grid. How fast does the ladder actually move? Our average client household brings roughly $1.5 to 2.0M in investable assets. Onboarding about 50 households reaches Lead Advisor II; about 73 reaches Lead Advisor III. Our capacity target of 100-115 households sits at the Senior Advisor levels. With a fed pipeline, this is a matter of years, not decades. Phantom equity. At two years as a Lead Advisor with $500,000 in revenue under management, you become eligible for grants under our Unit Appreciation Rights Plan - appreciation-only equity that lets you share in the growth of the firm's value with no buy-in cost. We're at $1.05B and building toward $2B. Grants are governed by the terms of the Plan. What we're looking for Required
How we work Integrity. Objectivity and transparency, client interests first - structurally, not aspirationally. Enjoy life and family. We respect boundaries. Nobody here is measured on hours in a chair. Listen. Good questions first. Advice second. Pursue excellence. Better processes, better outcomes, continuously. Gratitude. We never take a client's trust for granted. Make it happen. Everyone owns their responsibilities. To apply Send a resume and a short note about why this seat interests you. We move quickly - you'll hear from us within five business days, and our full process runs about three weeks from first conversation to decision. Any offer is contingent on Form U4 filing and investment adviser representative registration prior to client-facing work, plus a standard background check. The firm and Financial Planner Recruiting, LLC is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
