Nuclear Pharmacy PositionNuclear Pharmacy is responsible for providing radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines; may also consult with or advise physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy.Schedule:40 hours weeklyThis is an overnight schedule that operates Sunday - Thursday. Schedule times vary, but shifts typically start between 10:30pm-12:30am.Example shifts include, but are not limited to: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM, 11 PM - 7 AM, 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM, 12 AM - 8 AM, 12:30 AM - 8:30 AM.Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need.This position is benefit eligible the first day of employment. This includes medical, dental, vision, Paid Time Off, education assistance, 401K and more!Responsibilities:Under the immediate direction of a qualified licensed Staff Pharmacist, you will be trained to draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy. Many of your duties will include:Prepares prescriptions by typing labels and obtain Staff Pharmacist approvalDraws doses into either a syringe or vialPerforms quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with Federal, State, Company and manufacturer's guidelinesAssists pharmacist in preparing facility for daily operations through cleaning, equipment testing, maintenance of inventory, restocking, and preparing reports and other records.Follows standard operating procedures to organize, prepare and dispense radioactive medications, as specified by manufacturers and in line with customer needs.Acts as a shift lead for pharmacy technicians and follows standard operating procedures to organize, prepare and dispense radioactive medications, as specified by manufacturers and in line with customer needs.Collects and processes customer orders to ensure efficient communication and timely delivery of medications to patients.Performs administrative pharmacy tasks, such as billing, answering questions and assisting customers to facilitate pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.Maintains pharmacy safety through following and recording completion of daily infection control procedures.Assists in training and development of staff through mentorship of pharmacy tech trainees.Assists dispatchers and drivers in preparing packages for delivery and on occasion may make deliveries using company vehicle.Qualifications:High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredOhio Certified Pharmacy Technician requiredPrevious IV or clean room environment experience is a plusStrong customer service skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsManual dexterity required for occasional reach, lifting, holding of small objects, and dispensing dosesAbility to manage weight up to 75 poundsMay require vendor credentialingValid driver's licenseMinimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicleIntermediate computer skills (ability to use computers and tablets)Flexibility to work various shiftsComfortable performing repetitive motions/tasksComfortable working in a nuclear environmentAnticipated hourly range: $19.70 per hour - $28.10 per hourBonus eligible: NoBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 10/3/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
