Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic imaging services by operating X-ray and radiographic equipment. Ensure high-quality images are captured to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate X-ray and radiography equipment to produce clear diagnostic images.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Document patient information and imaging details accurately in medical records.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of X-ray and radiographic techniques.
• Certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Valid state license or certification as required.
• Proven experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Focused attention to detail and patient safety.
• Ability to work efficiently during shift hours and adhere to protocols.
