PT - Physical Therapist

Inpatient Physical Therapist
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There are three weekend days required every six weeks.
The Inpatient Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients across various units, including the Emergency Department, orthopedic/spine unit, rehabilitation unit, telemetry unit, and medical-surgical unit. The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary support and an evidence-based approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions tailored to patients' needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Float as needed to similar units within the facility.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Kansas PT license is required at the time of submission.
- Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
