Elwood Staffing is hiring a Network & Systems Engineer Level II in Tyler, TX! Monday-Friday 8am-5pm $60-70K+ DOE

Direct hire position

$ 28.00 to $ 34.00 / hour

Full time work available

First shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Design, configure, install, and maintain LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi environments
• Support servers, switches, routers, wireless systems, and telecommunications equipment
• Manage network security, backups, and user access
• Troubleshoot complex network and system issues
• Maintain technical documentation and standards
• Assist with strategic IT projects and upgrades
• Provide after-hours maintenance and emergency support as needed
• Mentor junior team members and support process improvements

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Experience with networking hardware, wireless systems, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of virtualization technologies including VMware and Hyper-V
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with excellent customer service skills
• Microsoft, Cisco, or other industry certifications preferred
• Valid Texas driver's license required
