Summary Monday Through Friday - Day Shift - 8 Hour Days - starting at either 7am or 8:30am. Performing General Radiography and Bone Density Exams. Job Description Provides health care services applying pulsed x‑ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Responsibilities Verifies orders, patient name/birth date and history. Performs/documents time out procedure for invasive procedures. Performs routine diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, surgery imaging, ED/urgent care imaging, and assists Radiologist and authorized providers with exams/procedures, as necessary. Produces quality images for Radiologist’s review. Must be able to complete warm up and QC on equipment (i.e. room checks, contrast reactions/infiltrates as required). Requirements Technical Diploma from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Current Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) License. Current License with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R). Benefits Tuition Assistance reimbursement program. Paid Time Off available for use upon hire.
