Schedule: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Aventura at the Bay is seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Receptionist to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for our residents, families, visitors, and staff during the evening hours.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service in a healthcare environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.

• Assist visitors with check-in and provide appropriate directions or information.

• Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area.

• Monitor and maintain visitor logs as required.

• Respond to general questions and direct concerns to the appropriate department.

• Assist with basic administrative and clerical tasks.

• Receive and distribute mail and other deliveries as needed.

• Maintain confidentiality and follow facility policies and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with staff regarding resident, visitor, or facility needs.

• Provide general administrative support to the facility team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience in a SNF.

• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused personality.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Dependable and punctual.

• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy environment.

• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling resident and family information.
