Our team works on a mix of shop-built systems and field projects, giving employees exposure to a variety of hands-on work. Overview Hilton Mechanical is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial and commercial piping projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and millwright systems. You will review project plans and specifications, perform material and labor takeoffs, and develop competitive bids that win work and protect margins. Work will primarily be performed at our office in Alpharetta, GA. Requirements Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for industrial and commercial piping, HVAC, plumbing, and millwright scopes Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment Prepare and submit complete, accurate cost estimates and bid proposals Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors Collaborate with project managers and field staff to refine scope and pricing Maintain organized records of bids, costs, and historical data Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of estimating experience in mechanical, piping, or commercial/industrial construction Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with estimation software (takeoff and bidding platforms) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and millwright systems Strong math, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications Consistent overtime opportunities Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid holidays and PTO 401(k) Steady work with a growing company #J-18808-Ljbffr Hilton Mechanical Contractors, LLC
