Sr. Principal Reverse Engineer

Position Summary Applied Signal Technology (AST), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company, is hiring a Senior Principal Reverse Systems Engineer. This onsite position in Anaheim Hills, CA requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph. Location & Travel Onsite – Anaheim Hills, CA. Travel up to 25%. Security Clearance TS/SCI with polygraph, active security clearance required from day1. What You Will Do Support multiple programs and collaborate with R&D team members on system development and deployment. Generate briefings and present material to team members, customers, and management. Qualifications – Must Have Degree in STEM and a minimum of 10years of relevant experience. Experience in systems architecture and systems engineering. Experience with reverse engineering of embedded systems. Experience with signal processing, proof‑of‑concept development, and prototype building. Experience working with customers, end‑users, hardware and software design teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Qualifications – Prefer Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics. Experience with RF, optical or electrical telecommunications standards and processing techniques. Experience with Design, Development, Integration and Test of open system architectures. Experience developing proof‑of‑concept use‑case scenarios supporting novel waveforms. Experience formalizing, developing and documenting requirements, plans and procedures based on customer interactions. Understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and signal‑processing fundamentals. Existing Top‑Secret SCI with polygraph (active within the last 24months).
